HISTORY:

Little is known of Ominus and his origin. It is speculated that, like his arch nemesis

Superion, he too is a Hybrid Venusian who may have had a Martian father. This is

supported by his much larger physical stature than that of the average Venusian

and his abilities that rival all other Venusian abilities. Also, an ancient glyph was

found that mentions a Hybrid Martian-Venusian who destroys his mother for

being unfaithful to her Venusian husband and destroys his Martian father for being

the reason for his mother’s adultery, but the Hybrid is not revealed due to the

obvious attempt at destroying all records of this event. Being that he hates his own

existence, this could explain why he is adamantly opposed to any otherworldly

contact, hoping to avoid any possible future Hybrids of his race. It could also

explain why he attempted to quell Spron's exploration efforts and why he has

come to despise Spron's son, the half human half Venusian born Superion. The

only certainty is that he is a harsh ruler who tolerates nothing but perfection from

his pure born race of Venusians. His disposition towards otherworldly explorers

has caused much galactic hostility and there is evidence that upon becoming

dictator of Venus, Ominus had all alien explorers who were visiting the planet

Venus terminated, which, due to the numerous visiting Martians that were killed,

may have caused a war with the planet Mars itself. This war ultimately resulted in

the utter destruction of all civilization on the planet Mars and the decimation of the

once habitable atmosphere. There are rumors of surviving Martians who migrated

underground in order to avoid the mass destruction of their planet's surface, but

there is no reliable proof of their existence. The only known Martian survivors are

the two brothers, I-Rokk and I-Ronn, who now reside on the planet Earth.

Ominus continues a constant vigil over his planet and declares war on any would

be interlopers. Also, he appears to be obsessed and consumed with the only

other known Venusian hybrid, Superion, who resides on Earth, and is constantly

scheming and plotting ways to destroy that which he feels is an unworthy

abomination.
